
NGC 4559 is a rewarding deep-sky target and appears as a soft glow. It is quite faint.
Right now it is at about 42° altitude and reaches 62° around 09:03 PM.
It stays above 30° for roughly 7 hours.
Galaxies are sensitive to light pollution, fine detail requires darker skies.
This object is better suited for experienced observers.
In small telescopes it remains mostly unresolved.
